FORWARD GREEN CC, LLC began in Louisville, Kentucky in 2016 as a trucking and logistics operation. That experience — documentation, inventory visibility, delivery planning, dependable communication — became the foundation for direct importing. In 2022 we expanded under the Tanganyika Food Supply Center umbrella to source agricultural products from East Africa and connect producers with U.S. wholesale buyers.

Jean Marie Kagabo leads Forward Green CC LLC from Louisville, Kentucky. He took a logistics business founded in 2016 and expanded it into direct importing from Burundi and East Africa — linking growers, cooperatives and processors with U.S. importers, roasters, tea companies and distributors.
